HERE ARE SOME ADVICES FOR YOU TO BE READY FOR YOUR UNDERWATER SE

PLEASE ENSURE TO READ ALL THE PROVIDED INFORMATION AS IT PLAYS A CRUCIAL ROLE IN YOUR SESSION

Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise:

Here is a simple breathing exercise with you that can help you stay comfortably underwater for longer periods

  • Get Comfortable: Find a quiet, relaxed spot where you can sit or lie down.
  • Hand Placement: Place one hand on your chest and the other on your abdomen. This will help you become aware of your breathing.
  • Inhale Slowly: Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose for a count of four seconds. As you do this, focus on your abdomen rising as your lungs fill with air.
  • Hold Your Breath: After inhaling, hold your breath for a count of two seconds.
  • Exhale Slowly: Now, exhale gently and slowly through your mouth for a count of six seconds. As you do this, feel your abdomen falling as you release the air.
  • Repeat: Continue this cycle for a few minutes, concentrating on the rhythm and depth of your breaths.

This diaphragmatic breathing exercise is fantastic for increasing your oxygen intake, promoting relaxation, and improving breath control. With practice, you'll find it easier to stay comfortably underwater for longer periods during our session

SWIMWEAR

When it comes to choosing swimwear for underwater photography in a sea environment with the beautiful colours of the sea, consider the following swimwear colours:

  • Black: Creates a classic and striking look, contrasting with the sea's colours.
  • Skin Colour: Provides a natural appearance, helping you blend with the underwater environment.
  • Brown: Offers an earthy and understated choice, complementing the sea's tones.
  • Red: Adds a bold and vibrant contrast against the sea's backdrop.
  • White: A white swimsuit can offer a fresh and clean look, creating a stark contrast with the sea's natural hues. However, please keep in mind that white can sometimes appear very bright underwater.

Also, if you'd like to be naked for your underwater session, that's completely fine. I am here to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for you. In cases where there might be a few people around, I have a discreet solution. You can simply hand your swimwear to me in the water.

Additionally, you have the option to wear diving fins or bodyboarding fins to enhance your photos. The choice is entirely up to you, allowing you to achieve the desired look for your underwater photography session.

water

I put a lot of work into making sure everything is just right for our underwater session.

But sometimes, the ocean can be a bit unpredictable. It's a massive, always-changing place, and there might be times when the water isn't perfectly clear because of currents or particles like sediment or algae.

While I can't assure crystal-clear water because I can't control the ocean, I can assure you that I will leverage my skills and expertise to create stunning images to the best of my ability.

THE PROCESS OF THE SESSION

You have the flexibility to choose whether you'd like your entire session to take place in the water or start on the shore before transitioning into the water.

Before your session, you will receive important information and a questionnaire that will help both of us prepare, ensuring that you have the most enjoyable experience possible. Additionally, we'll schedule a phone call to address any concerns or questions you may have before our session.

Once in the water, you'll have the freedom to decide how immersed you'd like to be, whether in deep or shallow water. We'll discuss positioning and find what makes you most comfortable – whether it's kneeling, standing, floating, or even taking a dive beneath the surface.

Throughout the session, I'll be right there beside you, providing support and guidance to ensure you feel completely at ease.

To me, your session is not just about capturing images; it's about crafting an unforgettable and exceptional experience. I can promise you'll cherish the memories as much as you'll adore the images.

safety

Safety during our session is importance.

While we aim to create a fun and memorable experience, it's essential to keep a few key safety considerations in mind.

Firstly, if you ever experience a cramp or any discomfort while in the water, please remain as calm as possible. We always start our sessions in shallower waters, so you'll never be too far from the shore. In the unlikely event of any discomfort, we can quickly make our way back to the beach.

And, if I ever notice strong currents or anything that could potentially affect our safety, rest assured that I won't hesitate to make the call to keep us out of the water. Your safety and mine always come first, and they are more important than capturing incredible images.
